Floral shoes are perfect transition shoes, considering that they’re made of fabric so usually not particularly warm. I love shoes but I don’t want my feet to freeze in the name of fashion. Of course with this crazy weather we could possibly wear fabric shoes even in December.
Floral shoes can easily elevate an outfit.
Of course beautiful footwear always does. After all, Coco Chanel said that “A woman with good shoes is never ugly”. And Mademoiselle knew best, that’s sure.
I’d like to have a pair of floral ankle boots and a pair of floral sneakers (Vans possibly). Fall 2016 collections offer plenty of choise. In fact, while I usually don’t like floral clothes, I love floral shoes. And I prefer them for the cold weather. If you basically know by heart “The Devil Wears Prada” you obviously remember this line by Miranda:
“Florals? In Spring? Grounbreaking.”
Wearing a pop of color at our feet can cheer us up during a cloudy/rainy day. A pop of color is a good idea even for a person who likes dark and neutral colors like me 🙂
