I’ve always had a thing for Carla Bruni. She’s such a classy woman, so feminine and refined. I saw her giving an interview two days ago and she looked so effortlessly chic with a simple t-shirt, jeans and a pair of booties.
Carla Bruni recently released an album titled “French Touch”, a collection of covers of songs of different artists like Depeche Mode, Abba, The Rolling Stones, even Audrey Hepburn. Bruni sings “Enjoy the silence”, “The winner takes is all”, “Moon River” with her signature hoarse voice that I like so much.
The video of “Miss You”, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, is simple and beautiful, almost relaxing. Whether you like Carla Bruni or not, you should watch it because Mondino directed many beautiful music videos of artists like Madonna (I love the video of “Justify My Love”, “Human Nature” and “Hollywood”), David Bowie, Björk, Lenny Kravitz.
It seems that Mick Jagger liked Carla Bruni’s delicate version of “Miss You”. Enjoy the video and the song.
